So what is Artificial Intelligence?
I have thought much about it, and if you do a Google search you kinda get a repetitive and similar answer on all the sites in the search.
Artificial intelligence is when machines are designed to think and learn like humans and to solve different types of problems.

This is the most common definition, but I like to illustrate it different when I try to explain what Artificial Intelligent is to my friends an family.
Artificial Intelligence are just like a super calculator. You input an question, then you calculate the answer, nothing is saved and restored from a database or a hard drive.

What does this mean? When you ask a Large language model like ChatGTP a question, the final answer is calculated.
There is no answers saved in plain text.
Think about it for a while! The answer is calculated. Not restored.
This is a new way of process, save and restore information.
This new technology is based on Neural Networks, quite similar how the human brain works, but also very different from how the human brain works?!
A neural network is a computer system inspired by the human brain that processes information through multiple layers of interconnected nodes (often millions or billions) to recognize patterns and make decisions.

Why is this so clever? Well in theory, you could “save and restore” an unlimited amount of information in a neural network.
All you have to do is to train the network on information first, again just like how the human brain learns and store information.
And the size (in Gigabytes on a storage media) of the Artificial Intelligence Neural Network will always be the same, even if you train it to answer one question or million questions!

This means you today easily could put an Artificial Intelligence program on your mobile phone that takes about 8 GB storage, and make it answer millions of questions like it was an real human. It’s just like magic!
Why does Neural Networks works so good in Artificial Intelligence?
Well, this is really interesting, because we really don’t know. We have copied the idea from the human brain, but we really don’t understand why it works so good!?
The scientists call this phenomenon The Black Box, and It’s really an enigma that we can send an question through an neural network, and get a so intelligence answer in return.
